Easter

I love holidays. I can always use an extra excuse to go visit family. We all went to the bay area and stayed with my folks. I helped my mom get started on facebook and helped with her blog. I'm certainly not a master of blogging yet, but it's turning out cute. We went sailing on Saturday and ate lunch on the boat and then went on a great bike ride to a nearby park. The weather was a little breezy, but sunshine and the exertion kept us warm. On Sunday, after church, we enjoyed Easter lunch with Adam's family, my parents came as well. Olivia had about four egg hunts this week, including two on Sunday. Of course we ate way too much, but it was so good! The week leading up to Easter Adam, Olivia and I read scriptures and stories everyday outlining the events prior to Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. I have never prepared for Easter like that before and found I was moved more than I ever have been. It was wonderful and I enjoyed sharing it with my family.

How fun, did you go boating too? Man I need to live somewhere warm! Glad you had a great time with family.

Great posts Jess! There's nothing like going to a major league baseball game either. We went to the Rockies a few times and even though it was way overpriced, it sure was fun!
I love the weather in CA! Some things I miss, like the ocean and fun touristy things to do, and especially the fresh produce that's dirt cheap, but a lot of things I don't miss, like the crowds, the housing prices, the public schools, ect...
I really enjoy meaningful Holidays too. Easter can be special and a real testimony builder when families take the initiative to make it so.
