The picture of the U/S I took sucks but even the poor quality can't mask the masculinity of this baby. Yes...baby boy. Olivia and Adam came with me and as the tech moved the wand to the baby's butt Adam and I exclaimed "That is a boy!" at the same time before she even told us what the sex was. I think we were briefly bummed at first. I really wanted another girl, Olivia wanted a sister and Adam is scared of having spazy little boys. Once the surprise wore off we started getting excited. I guess that pee test was right. All else with the baby seems fine, he is growing appropriately and nothing obvious is wrong. I think that has been a big relief to me. The other day I had a patient with a 20 week loss related to an abnormality. I haven't felt great yet, I'm still tired, I hadn't felt the baby move and I've just been so uneasy the whole time, even though nothing I'm experiencing is abnormal. Anyway, next post I'll post a good belly shot. I think my belly button may be out in a few weeks. Till then.

Congratulations. I think boys are great! Kind of destructive, but you get used to the feeling that your raising a tornado!
Yep he sure is a boy!! I was so scared when we found out we were having a boy, but I am so glad (obviously) that we have him. Even at 10 months boys are different, but it is a good different. I guess just hope for a girl next time :) Yay for boys!
Yea! Well in my experience boys are much easier than girls (at least for the first 10 years of their life...we'll see after that) Glad it is all going well so far. What is your due date?

Congrats! That is so exciting! A boy would be LOTS of fun. I didnt even know you were pregnant for the longest time. Way cool. And September will be here before you know it!
