Mini-Vacay

A friend of Adam's Mom had a house in Groveland CA, just outside of Yosemite and we were invited to spend the weekend. Adam's Mom and her friend and Adam's sister Amy and her baby Jackson all stayed in the house. It was wicked hot up there, but nice at night. We chose to spend the days at the lake, instead of heading into Yosemite, where no doubt it would be busy on the weekend. The water was clean and refreshing. It was cool in the shade. There were two water trampolines (not recommended for people over a hundred pounds, Adam and I nearly collapsed one). I made turkey sandwiches one day and chicken salad sandwiches another. We ate lots of watermelon too. On Sunday we found a small little branch to attend church and spent the rest of the afternoon napping and reading. We came back from there on Monday and I didn't have to go to work again until Wednesday. I love vacations, almost as much as I love not working. (Isn't that the same thing?)

Silly Olivia. The first day we didn't have inner tubes and she swam with me all the way out to where the buoys were. The second day she wouldn't go anywhere without the tube and wouldn't go into the deep area because of the seaweed that was visible under the water, even though she couldn't touch it.

Pregnant, barefoot, in the kitchen. Just how Adam likes me.

Pregnant and bare foot, what a way to be! Looks like a fun vacation. Don't you love being in the water when you are prego? It just makes you feel so less weighed down.
