We went to my Auntie Em's up in Susanville for the weekend. Last year we went up there too and had some pretty cool weather. Well, can you believe it rained and then actually snowed?...at the end of May! It really put a damper on our activities. We did go for a walk in the brisk mountain air and giant pine cone hunting without success. Our picnic at Eagle lake was windy and cold and the bikes we toted along didn't get used. BUT, we still had fun. Cooking, eating, talking, playing. On memorial day we went to a local cemetery and visited the graves of the many veterans. Some as early as WWI. Olivia has always been interested in graveyards, and she was especially interested in all the graves of babies and children we saw too.
This is last years picture.

Our family now.

Some friendly neighborhood horses. (They live out in the country.)

Eagle Lake (The jean jacket Adam is sporting belongs to my much more slender Uncle Bob.)

The cousins: Greta, Ericka and me.

Benji, Adam and Bob.

Olivia is queen of the lake!

Man I hope I am as successful as you at looking AMAZING while nursing an infant.
Is it ever going to warm up over there?
Man! I'm always so bummed when I hear about you guys getting together and I don't get to be a part of it! Looks like fun, though. Miss you!
