On January 30th, I found out that my grandmother, Jan Davis, my mother's mom, died. She was 79 years old, had been in poor health for a while and was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December that quickly took its course. We were so lucky to have seen her in Las Vegas, for my brother's wedding. It was a great time to get together with all of my family. Of course, everyone says it is always weddings and funerals that bring everyone together. So we all gathered together again in Utah to celebrate her life. She was a wonderful woman, hardworking, positive and kind. I was her first grandchild and she always made me feel so loved and special. She never judged, only encouraged. She will be missed, but as her broken body rests, her spirit lives on and we will all be reunited again someday.

Grandmothers are so loving and sweet-I always felt closer to my grandmas than I did either of my parents. with age comes wisdom and far less judgement!
(I don't think I ever saw any pictures of you as a bride-very pretty!)
