My sister Juliana and her family came to visit. They were in the middle of a move from Baltimore to St. Louis and flew out to Utah for a week and then to Cali for a week and we got those cousins to ourselves!
Fourth of July-City Parade, Pool time and barbecue and fireworks!
Tahoe Trip-We used some miles to get a three bed, three bath place at Squaw Valley and played at Lake Tahoe for two days and spent a day at the resort. My brother Jared came too-the kids love him! We took the kids up to High Camp and swam, skated, and played tennis. Ammon, Jared and I ran up the six miles to the top. Well, ran/walked a lot, but not a bad pace considering the steepness of some of the trail. My Aunty Em and Uncle Bob met us at Tahoe one day too. What a fun fest! Picture order is King's Beach, Squaw Valley then Sand Harbor.
The veritable sand fortress built over the course of six hours. It received many compliments.
The "fire alarm" incident. Ben pulled the fire alarm while we were at the hot tub at the resort and the resort couldn't turn it off. Well it triggered a call to the fire department who had to physically walk the premise to assure there was no fire. Ben was so scared and embarrassed he wouldn't even look at the firemen even though they were super nice. They even offered to show him their truck and come by later at the fire house for a tour. I admit I appreciate his shame of being naughty. Olivia just gets defensive.

You are so Lucky to have such an amazing extended family! I love that you guys make time to see each other and that your kids have relationships with their cousins! It's so awesome! I envy you :-)
