Free!
Last Saturday it was free museum day in Sacramento, but other venues like the zoo were free too. We went to Fairytale Town (across the street from the zoo) for about two hours and ate a picnic lunch there and had planned to go to the zoo, but it was free and it was Saturday, so you get it, it was crowded. Fairytale town is fun, although cheesy. It is a small park designed around Mother goose stories and other tales like Robinhood, etc. Mostly it is just a playground spread out over a couple acres. Fun, nonetheless, and free, did I mention that.

How fun! I remember how much I loved the Sacramento Zoo! and picnics at the park across the street! How awesome to have a FREE day :)
