Progress? Ahhh, a little

So, I am not doing as well on my New Years resolutions as I'd hoped, but I'm working on it. I haven't completed one personal progress goal. I actually would be finished with one if I could just sit down and write in a journal. I suppose writing a journal isn't so different from blogging but it feels weird to me. I'm still determined to do it, and have not given up yet.
So far my early morning goal has been complicated by being tired because of Benjamin changing sleeping and waking schedules. Babies seem to do that. I have only managed to get up once and take a spin class at the gym at 5:45am before work, but the class went 45 minutes instead of 30, like I thought it would, and I was a little late for work. So, I continue to work out on my days off and days I work short shifts. It seems to be enough right now to keep my saddlebags at bay.
I have managed to read one of my books I have been nursing. Actually, I finished it and then started The Hunger Games trilogy (not originally on my list) and I've been addicted. I've been so into those books like people were into Twilight. Really good. Anyway, I continue to nurse my other books and am making a little headway.
My next I goal I actually feel good about and continue to make the effort to be positive about those I care about. It really has had an uplifting effect on the way I feel and see them. I like it.
My (Adam and I actually) last goal is starting out well. We were able to take some extra money and pay off Adam's truck and now we are applying the extra car payment money toward the student debt. I get excited thinking about those balances shrinking.

I gave in and started reading the Hunger Games books too. I still refuse to pick up the Twilight books though!!

You sound like you're doing great on the goals! Good job!

I have a great thing that has helped me with the journal writing. It is a list of questions to help you write Your Life Story. I know it sounds boring and hard. But it has been AMAZING for me. It is random questions like "Tell about your Christmas traditions as a child" or "Tell about your first bike" etc, etc. I just pick and choose which questions I want to answer. Oh, and it is all on a word document so I just sit down on the computer and spend 5 minutes a day on it. I can send it to you if you are interested. Let me know.
