Rachel has a unique right ear(it is pointed, like an elf, and flat on the edge), but not so unique that I hadn't seen it before. My brother Jake has it and according to my dad his Grandpa White had it. I'm curious to know if anyone else on the Jensen side of the family has this ear too.

okay, I'm not from the Jensen family, however my family has a similar ear thing. Two of my sisters and a bunch of my nephews and nieces (none of my kids though) have the flat edge (they all call it a fold, but it looks just like Rachel's) the only difference is that none of them have that elf-like point. Very interesting.
Yes! Renae (my oldest daughter) has "elf" ears. I'm not sure about the flat part...but both her ears are quite pointy. I had never noticed it, but she did and is quite self-conscious of it now. Sad. I think they are cute.
Henry had that too as a baby, only his was completely folded over. As he grew it smoothed out. Now it's only slightly noticeable.
I am pretty sure that none of mine are pointy, but I guess Heather didn't notice Renae's were. I will check. That is pretty cool.
